Crosshaven 4-7 Mayfield 0-7
In our first championship outing of the season, our U16 hurlers put in a fine display of hurling in the first half by scoring 4-5 with great individual displays both in the back line, midfield and in the forward line. They took their foot off the pedal a bit in the second half and Mayfield never gave up and put our back line under a lot of pressure at times but our backline and Louis Murphy in goal really stood up to the pressure and limited Mayfield to 2 points in the second half.
