U13 Phase 2 Rebel Og League

We travelled north for the first game of phase 2. We arrived into Glantane and the heavens opened for us which led to very tricky conditions.
After the long journey, we were slow to start off and conceded 4 points in the first 10 minutes as Kilshannig kept us in our own half. We started to come to life after 10 minutes and move up the field and started to play football and get back into the game. With a nice goal for Sean and picking off a few nice points from the forwards, we drew level at half time at 1-4 each.
Kilshannig came at us after half time and kicked a few nice points to pull ahead and then got a goal which seen them pull ahead by 7 points. The lads knuckled down and kept focus and started to claw back the gap. Some great build up play from the lads saw us miss a few goals to the slippery conditions but we got our reward and knocked in a lovely goal which brought us back into the game. The last kick off the game was a free kick from Harry to draw it level.
Thanks to all the parents that made the long journey north. We were tight on numbers with only 16 players, but they all worked very hard considering a lot of them had played games for U12 and U14 in the last 3 days.
