First win for Crosshaven tonight in U12 football against St Catherine’s in Division 2. Crosshaven started really well with some great long balls into the forward line to hit some early goals. Midfield and half forwards made it really hard for the goal keeper to get his kick outs up the field with constant pressure and we were tenacious with our tackling and fighting for the ball. Our full forward line had a great game to contribute 5 goals and 2 points between them. Midfield added a further 2 goals and 4 points. Both our back lines worked hard to choke them down and with Daniel in goals we had a high success rate on kick outs won, with all the backs working hard to hold possession. 

Overall a great team effort with some fantastic interchange play and long range free flowing football. Crosshaven 7-9 St Catherine’s 1-4
