Our u12 hurlers had a great challenge game against Blackrock this afternoon. Played over 3 periods, the lads faced the wind for the first 20 and were slow to get going. Trailed by 6 points to 1 at the first break.
From here on the lads really came into it and fought hard for their ball. Some great hurling played by both teams in tough conditions at times and the final result was a narrow loss. 2-3 to 1-8.
