September 14th Match Report
Crosshaven U13 travelled to Kinsale for the Rebel Og shield semi final on Sunday morning. It was a wet and windy morning. Kinsale took an early lead and were up 2-1 to no score after 10 minutes. We were playing against a strong wind but that the lads settled into the game after that and really started to fight for every ball. We went into half time with a 4 point lead after a great end to the first half.
A few early scores helped at the start of the second half but Kinsale really put the pressure on and every ball was won with a very physical battle. With some great defensive work we managed to to hold on and book our place in a shield final.
