Junior Indoor Hurling League - Finals 2024
The annual Crosshaven GAA Junior Indoor Hurling League 2024 concluded in an exciting morning of hurling on November 24th.
Throughout November mixed aged team from age 6 to 7 played a weekly league in Crosshaven Boys School hall.
Finals day meant knockout hurling. Based upon their league standings the teams played quarter-finals, semi-finals and Final to determine which team took home the Trophy for 2024.

There were hugely entertaining games played throughout the day with all the boys getting stuck in. The younger lads showed no fear tackling the big hitters.
Team effort and hard work were key to make it through the rounds, with a good amount of luck thrown in. Some matches went to the wire with decisive goals scores in the dying seconds and some going to extra time.

The two strongest teams made it into Final pairing, with Kilkenny facing off against Clare.
The final match did not disappoint with a tight game with lots of drama and cheering crowd. With the match moving into extra time and golden goal, Clare scored and took the win.
Well done to all the lads who took part, they were all winners with some fine hurling on show, great team work and even though a loss may be difficult sometimes, it will stand to them well when they come back again in 2025 with more skills and determinataion.
Big thanks to Crosshaven Boys School for the use of the hall and all the coaches and organisers.

This marks the end of the Juvenile GAA season, it was a great way to finish the season on a high.
Looking forward to the new season on 2025.
