Minor Division 1 football Championship Final Replay Diarmuid O Murchu’s 0-10 Inniscarra 0-04. Played on Halloween night in ideal conditions in Bishopstown this was a victory to savor for Diarmuid O Murchu’s. It was a  titanic battle right through the hour with O Murchu’s holding Inniscarra to one point in the first half scored on the 29th minute while slotting over 4 points from frees themselves. Tactically it was a superb display from O Murchu’s who defended to a man while attacking at pace which the opposition could not live with ! 4 points to 1 at half time O Murchu’s stretched it out to 6 with points from play from Cian Lynch , Oisin Buckley and David  Herlihy and seven points from frees from Shay Murphy. Three years this panel of players are  together under the O Murchu’s umbrella and this was an achievement for dedication and hard work which they throughly  deserved. On to the County Semi final V Mitchelstown on the 10th of November.
