Division 1 Championship semi final
Crosshaven 3-06 Inniscarra 2-08
Crosshaven travelled to Inniscarra to play in what was tipped to be a very tight affair.
It certainly started off that way with Crosshaven electing to play against the wind. It was tit for tat throughout the first half. The standard of football wasn’t up to our normal levels and it finished with Crosshaven leading by 1 point at half time.
It continued into the second half with sloppy play from both sides which isn’t like our lads but 2 goals from Callum Mulcahy at critical stages kept some breathing space between us.
It wasnt pretty to watch but when you win ugly, it makes it even better as it showed the lads can grind out a victory when required.
With a 33% return on our 27 shots, there is plenty to work on in advance of the final.
