Crosshaven 3-19 Passage 4-4

Where do I start, what a magnificent display by our lads. The previous meeting between these 2 teams resulted in a draw so this was teeing up to be a cracker. Passage have a great team but Crosshaven learnt a lot from the previous outing and got their defensive strategy spot on. To a man every player gave it their all and some had to play in positions which they were not used to but adapted really well. 
It was tit for tat for the first half but Crosshaven finished the first half ahead by 1-13 to 2-3.
Crosshaven got some early goals in the second half which put some distance between the teams but Passage to be fair never gave up and pulled the score back to within 5 points. Crosshaven put the head down and played some impressive interlinking play to both get it out of defence and to get some crucial scores.
It was a comfortable win in the end but played in great spirits which was a credit to both sides
Onwards now to a semi final V inniscarra.
