Minor Hurling Championship Shield semi final . Diarmuid O Murchu’s 1-18 Aghabullogue 2-09 . Played in Shanbally on Wednesday 4th of September O Murchu’s played with the wind in the first half and scored splendid points from distance along with an opportunist goal by Dave Cotter which was answered soon after by Aghabullogue with a goal of their own . Half time score was O Murchu’s 1-11 to 1-07 and with it all to do for the second half facing a blinding Sun and stiff wind but our lads started well and points from play and long distance frees by Barry O Mahony we kept the the scoreboard ticking over and won by 6 points at the final whistle. 

Diarmuid O Murchu’s now play Tracton in the Shield Final on September the 18th .
