MHC Diarmuid O Murchu’s 0-13 Ballygarvan 3-12. As the curtain closed on the group stages of the minor hurling Championship O Murchu’s put up a great performance in Shanbally last evening even thou short a number of players on the night for various reasons.  With only 14 players and against a stiff wind in the first half they held Ballygarvan to 6 point to 4 but the last puck of the ball before the short whistle left it 1-06 to 0-04. O Murchu’s matched the opponents point for point throughout the second half but the goal we needed never came and Ballygarvan with the extra man over ran us towards the end . A gallant performance on the night and we will  regroup again and head into the Shield competition.
