U12 footballers travelled to Killeagh tonight.
We started slowly and Killeagh, with the aid of a strong breeze took the lead.
We struggled to get the ball up the field and get some scores. However, we held on and went in at half time 4 points down.
Killeagh got 2 early goals in the second half to put us under serious pressure but the lads rallied and showed some great fighting spirit to lift their game and really got stuck into Killeagh. We rattled the net 5 times to claw the game back to a well deserved draw.
Blood, sweat and even a few tears were left on the pitch tonight from a very brave bunch of lads.
Special thanks to all the parents who travelled tonight and Thursday night to support the lads.
It finished Crosshaven 5-2 Killeagh 3-8.
