Crosshaven u16 hurlers had there second championship group game at home to Brian Dillon’s/ Delaney’s tonight and came out on top with another good team performance with Crosshaven leading from start to finish playing some great hurling in the first half we led 1-13 to 0-7 at the interval
On resumption our forwards put the pressure on straight away and turned over the defence resulting in an early goal setting the tone for the second half. We kept the pressure on throughout with some well taken scores from play and frees and also kept another clean sheet.
This now sets us up nicely for our last group game away to st Vincent’s final score
Crosshaven 5-16
Brian Dillons / Deleanys 0-10
Well done all
Speedy recovery to Jack Ryan who picked up a nasty ear injury late in game
