MFC Diarmuid O Murchu’s 2-13 Ballinora 3-08. Played in Ballinora on Wednesday the 14th last, O Murchu’s achieved their second football championship win . A strong start led to a 1-04 to no score advantage and a great penalty save by Shay Murphy in goal had us in a good position but Ballinora as always pushed hard before half time and our lead was cut to 1 point 1-07 to 2-03. 
We started the second half again strongly and a second goal by Barry O Mahony helped us to a six point lead with 12 minutes to go with Ballinora kicking the last four points . A very important win for O Murchu’s in a very tough game.
