U16 Football League in Camden
Crosshaven 7-13 Ballincollig 1-9
Crosshaven started off very strong but were very wasteful at times throughout the first half, missing a lot of easy chances but on the flip side were creating a lot. Ballincollig kept plugging away at the scoreline and Crosshaven kept up the pressure and it finished 1-4 to 1-3 to Crosshaven after the end of the half.
A few choice words at half time by the coaches gave the lads the impetus the needed to push on and started to pop over some fine scores and hit the net a few times. It was great to see Diarmuid Kelly back from injury again as he came on in the 2nd half and made an immediate impact scoring 1-2 before being brought off again as a cautionary measure with 10 minutes to go (much to his disappointment :-))
Special mention to Callum Mulcahy and Jack Ryan who stood in as Goalkeeper sharing both halves.
We are back to the Top of the Division 1 League - well done lads
