Carrigaline 2-13 Crosshaven 4-15
Crosshaven continued their winning streak this evening in sunny Carrigaline in the South East League. Carrigaline elected to play against the slight breeze in the first half but started very strongly & posted a number of fine points with Crosshaven struggling to get a grip on the game with a number of goal chances missed. Half time score of 0-6 to 0-5 in favour of Crosshaven.
The second half turned out to be a totally different affair with high scoring and fine free flowing play. Crosshaven started to knock in some goals and got some well worked points. Carrigaline responded accordingly and it was nip and tuck for the majority of the half with Crosshaven never really in danger of losing their early lead gained in the start of the second half.
