Our u12 hurlers got their league campaign off to a winning start against Donoughmore this morning in Camden. 
Some lovely hurling in the first half saw them in a commanding lead at half time 5-6 to 1-0. Ryan O'Connell was solid as usual in goal and was protected well by full back line throughout of Tadhg, Harry and Daniel. 
The half back line of Luke, Daithí and Roan were excellent throughout, well on top and delivered brilliant ball to our forwards. Daithí hit 2 brilliant 65s over the bar too Oliver and Charlie got through loads of work in midfield and chipped in with some great scores. 
In the forwards Mossie Brendan and Harry McGrath were brilliant and their runs were causing lots of problems for Donoughmore. Tony was excellent as usual at centre forward and got a cracking goal in the first half. Ben, Owen and Chris were lethal inside and finished with 4 goals between them. 

Final score was Crosshaven 7-10 Donoughmore 1-2
