Our Junior hurlers togged out on a sunny Saturday evening last v Delaneys in the Seandún Junior B Hurling League. Delaneys started very strong but Crosshaven started to get to grips with the opposition and picked off some lovely scores which settled the team. Our full back line were put under a lot of pressure but were tenacious in defence and came out on top in almost all of the encounters. Our midfield started to take control and won a number of frees which helped keep the scoreboard tipping away. Our 3 minors of Ruairc Sisk, Senan Buckley & Eoin O'Sullivan played a stormer and really stood up to the challenge - well done lads.
Our lads kept digging deep in what was an energy sapping game with the heat and came out on top on a scoreline of Crosshaven 1-14 to Delaneys 1-8.
Let's hope Cork Hurlers can bring home the bacon now V Waterford today. Come on the Rebels
