Our under 12 hurlers continued their pre season preparation with 2 good challenge games against Sarsfields and Sliabh Rua. They started against Sars and finished strongly to record a 2-6 to 4 points win. Some great hurling on display in this game from both sides.

The second game against sliabh rua was a tighter affair and the lads were down at half time 2-2 to 1-1. Their never say die attitude wouldn't give in though and a brilliant second half display where they dug in and got through a massive amount of work which paid off with a 3-3 to 2-4 win.

Our squad today was the ever reliable Ryan O'Connell in goal, Flynn McGrath and Tadhg Connolly in the full back line who were rarely beaten and delivered great supply to the forwards. Daniel Maverley, Daithi O'Leary and Mossie Bermingham were rock solid in the half back line!

Oliver Dransfield and Roan Sisk got through a lot of work in midfield and chipped in with some vital scores.

Harry McGrath, Tony Fitzgibbon and Charlie Bermingham were dangerous as usual on the half forward line and their direct running was a key factor. Ben Bywater and Owen Hurley in the full forward line made a massive impact. Ben got a couple of goals and Owen was excellent, working very hard, a great debut. Well done lads - They start their league campaign next Sunday against Kinsale.
