Match Report Seandún league first round Crosshaven v St Vincents Played on a fine day in Camden the conditions were suitable for a good game of hurling. Crosshaven were quick out of the blocks and raced into an early lead with goals from Redvers McGrath and Ruairc Sisk. Cathal Browne got in on the act when his placed ball was struck all the way to the net. Points from Redvers, Ruairc, Cathal and High Sisk left the score at 5-8 to 8 points at half time. The backline was solid with Kieran Twohig and Johnny McCarthy keeping any danger away from Anthony Burkes goal. Anything that did come in was handled well by Burkey. Mike Dalton played well at 6 and distributed good ball up the field. Flanked by Peter Foley and captain Evan Lynch the half back line was on top throughout. Eoghan O'Sullivan and Daragh Cogan worked very hard in midfield and saw a lot of ball. John O'Brien worked hard in the half forward line and linked up play well with Redvers McGrath and Cathal Browne. Inside forwards Hugh Sisk and Ruairc Sisk were always dangerous and ended the day with 3-10 between them. James McSweeney came on at half time, scored a point and helped keep the shape as the game wore on. Adam Power made his comeback from injury and looked dangerous in the inside forward line for the last 25 minutes. Darren Gregan made his return also and worked hard, getting on several balls. The second half played out with a lot of space with the 13 a side format. Crosshaven were content to take their points here and the match finished with a 5-18 to 10 points win. Scorers: Ruairc Sisk 3-7 Cathal Browne 1-4 Redvers McGrath 1-3 Hugh Sisk 0-3 James McSweeney 0-1
